Turn Back Time with a Non-Invasive ThreadLift

You already know that the aging process can rob skin of its youthful elasticity, which may result in sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines. While there is no shortage of anti-aging products and procedures, some people shy away from surgery or invasive solutions. For these folks, ThreadLift is the way to go!

In fact, thread lifts are increasingly popular with a 72% increase between 2021 and 2022, according to data from the Aesthetic Society. So, what’s this all about?

What is a Thread Lift?

A thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses medical-grade suture thread material to lift and tighten sagging skin. Unlike traditional facelift surgery, a thread lift doesn’t require incisions or general anesthesia, making it an attractive option for those seeking a quicker, safer, and less painful alternative.

The procedure involves carefully inserting thin threads under the skin. These threads are then gently pulled upwards to lift and tighten the skin, effectively reducing the appearance of wrinkles and restoring a more youthful contour to your face.

The result?

Skin that looks smoother, tighter, and more radiant—without the downtime (or pain!) associated with surgery.

How Does a Thread Lift Work?

During the ThreadLift procedure, Dr. Zelinger uses medical-grade suture thread material, which is completely safe and works with your skin. Once the threads are inserted, they are carefully pulled upwards to lift the sagging areas, tightening the skin and giving your face a more youthful appearance.

There are different types of thread lifts, which target specific areas of the face, including cat or fox eye, eyebrow, nose, and neck.

The entire procedure typically takes about 30 to 45 minutes making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules. You might even hear a thread lift referred to as a “lunchtime lift.”

While you may experience some mild swelling or bruising, these side effects are temporary and should subside within a few days.

What Can You Expect?

Although the results are immediate, the full effects become more apparent as any swelling subsides. You’ll notice that your skin looks firmer, smoother, and more lifted. Additionally, the collagen-boosting effects of the threads continue to improve the appearance of your skin over the following months.

While the results of a thread lift are not permanent, they can last anywhere from one to three years, depending on factors like your skin type, age, and lifestyle. Many patients choose to have additional treatments to maintain their refreshed appearance. Ready to talk to us about our ThreadLift option? Contact the office today!
